![]() We chose to stay at Encore for a new Vegas experience. The fact that the Encore prioritizes playing loud music, and having a huge party till 4am over guests getting rest is very telling. We stay in some of the best hotels in North America (typically!). (I’M supposed to shell out more, because my sleep has been disturbed?) We are two girlfriends who leave the husbands and kids home a few times a year to travel. I asked about maybe getting two connecting rooms, and was told this was an option, but I would have to pay hundreds more. No thanks, neither of us wants a small room with a rollaway, or we would’ve booked that. When I asked what my options were, I was told we could move to a smaller room and get a rollaway bed. What? The hotel is very aware that their guests will be kept awake at least 2 nights a week by their own bar/pool party? And they simply accept this? Unbelievable. ALL of the rooms with two beds in the entire Encore hotel are going to have the loud music that will keep us up on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. When I went in the morning to speak to the reception desk about our dissatisfaction with the loud music keeping us up, and wanting to switch to a quieter room, I was told this. It went until 4am! We were surprised, and really disappointed. ![]() Apparently, our room was above a pool party/bar? Sigh. Unfortunately, our very first night, we were kept awake by the sounds of very loud music. The room was very nice with a large bathroom with two sinks. We spent 4 nights at Encore in a large room with two queen beds.
